The Srivastavas - Family Lifestyle Session

The most wonderful session with these 3 beautiful people. Thank you mother earth for gifting us this warm sunny weather in November so that I can continue doing what I absolutely love. Capturing all the feelings and the immense amount of love between families so that they can hold on to those fleeting moments forever.

Darien - In Home Newborn Lifestyle

I had the absolute honour of capturing part of Julia and Kevin's newborn story. I was able to photograph in their home (while I wore a mask)and capture these incredibly special and fleeting moments of Darien's brand new life.

Little did I know that it was one of my last in home sessions of 2020 as with Ford's announcement that came shortly after bringing us back to stage 2, we are now no longer able to work inside when all parties can't wear a mask.

So I hold on to these incredibly beautiful images so close to my heart and feel so grateful. Thank you Julia & Kevin, for inviting me into your home and trusting in me. It means the world to me.

The Hicks - Family Lifestyle Session - Petrie Island

I have been photographing the Hicks for the past 5 years. Always a ridiculously fun time. Each child is completely different which creates an explosion of emotions and character which is the ultimate ingredients for the best sessions.

Dani & James - Family Lifestyle session

Beautiful, energetic Eden gave me my second workout of the day, she definitely had me running and I loved it so much! Despite the cold water she was determined to get in it and so she did. Scroll through and enjoy all the lovely energy. I absolutely love my amazing laid back clients who just go with the flow. There's never a plan, that is absolutely the best way to allow me to tell your story.

The Sauls - Extended Family Lifestyle Session

The largest Extended Family Session to date and I must admit, definitely one of my favourites! We had booked the session a month prior, thinking we'd all be in winter jackets and mittens in the month of November and here we were under the warm sun in t-shirts and sandals. Thank you Mother Nature for this incredible day and thank you to the Sauls for trusting in me to capture all this amazing love you all have for each other.

Gillian & Geoff - Wedding - La Grange

Ridiculously amazing day with Gillian and Geoff where they spent the day with their family and a few close friends and said "I do" at sunset! Thats right, sunset!

I said this before but I am immensely enjoying these small intimate weddings! I can't stop looking through their sneak peeks and I hope you enjoy their wedding story as much as I do.

Mikaela & Ashley - Family Lifestyle Session

I am so in love with this family. Mikaela is a good friend of mine and as I look through these images from our session my eyes fill with tears, so much so I have a few running down my cheeks. I am so tremendously happy for them. Mikaela and her sweet babies have been through incredible loss, devastating loss and when Ashley came into their lives things changed. To see them so f&@kin' happy as you see them in these images brings me so much peace. I have no doubt these images will make anyone smile as you feel the love pouring out and brighten even the cloudiest of days.

Kathryn & Peter - Family Lifestyle Session

Family session with 16 month old twins and a 4 year old, plus two very cool, laid back parents... THE best time!

Someone was always up to or into something and I absolutely loved it. Please check out some of the fun we had together exploring the campus of Carleton University, where Kathryn and Pete first met

The Bolan's - Family Lifestyle Sesison

I photograph the Bolan's every 2-3 years and I'm always in awe at how much these boys change and grow! It's mind boggling and an amazing reminder how fleeting our childhoods are. I feel so privileged to be able to capture these special memories for this family.

And seriously boys, SLOW down on the growing. It hurts my mama heart.

Jessica & Mac - Engagement Session

Incredibly chill engagement session with these two beautiful people this past Friday evening with a stop at Mac's parents because we should *always* include the dogs when possible

I so look forward to documenting all the love for these two in September 2021.

Lucas' 4th Birthday - Family Session at the Cottage

I was invited to the cottage to capture this incredibly fun and beautiful session with these 3 in August. This is my 4th session with these 3 beauties. Every year I capture memories on or a few days after Lucas' birthday. It is an honour to watch this little man grow and an honour to capture these special, fleeting moments for this family. Thank you so much for trusting in me.

Also, more cottage sessions PLEASE!

The Mohers' In-Home Newborn Session

My first in home newborn session in what feels like forrrrreeeever. Ohhh how I have missed these sessions so much. Completely genuine and so real, they are my absolute favourite.

Max arrived earth side July 28, 2020 and the entire family is completely in love.

I feel so ridiculously honoured to have been able to domument these fleeting moments in the Mohers' lives so that they can keep them fresh in their minds forever. Congratulations to the entire family. He is absolutely gorgeous!

Jessica & Anthony - Wedding - Constance Bay

Woah! It’s been a while since I’ve posted don my blog. Get ready for me to unload all my amazing sessions I’ve had over the past few months with some incredible families, but first… let me share this ridiculously beautiful & intimate wedding I photographed in Constance Bay last weekend. My very first wedding of the year.

I was one of 25 people who had the honour to witness these two say "I do" on the beach that is directly infront of their home

It was perfect. I vote for more small weddings like this!

Congratulations Jessica and Anthony. I wish you all the love and happiness.

Renee & Scott - In home Newborn Session

I had the most laid back, chill newborn session yesterday morning with this amazing family. Baby Jade slept the entire time except for maybe about 10 minutes when we purposely woke her up, going through a growth spurt, no doubt. Mom and dad were very well rested considering and seemed like they had been parenting for years. And sweet, sweet Bentley, their Rottie Mix, was the most well behaved pup ever and helped add a little character and humour into the mix.

Thank you so much Renee and Scott for inviting me into your home and trusting me to capture these incredibly special yet fleeting moments.

The Juteau's IN-Home Extended Family Session

Over the holidays I was honoured to be invited into the Juteau home. Typically when I photograph Extended Family Sessions ( grandparents, uncles, cousins etc), we focus mostly on portraits while getting some moments in between as that is what I used to think people wanted . Although, I can take a great portrait, portraits do not set my soul on fire. What gets me so incredibly excited to shoot is real, genuine feelings and moments, the in-betweens. Those images are the ones that will bring in a flood of emotion and feelings when you look through your photos years from now. Those moments fade over time, but having the ability to capture it on camera, freeze it in time forever is so incredible special. A simple kiss on the forehead, playing hide and go seek, pillow sights, sharing special treats with your family, snow man building competitions, THESE are the images that fuel my passion for photography. I will be using this incredible session that I had with The Juteau’s as a new model for future sessions to come. THIS is what I love and this is what I want to provide to all of you.

*please note that two members have requested I not share images on them on social media which I absolutely respect. I have taken the images of them out of these sneak peeks (mostly group photos).

Suzie & Aaron - Family Session - Ottawa Christmas Market

We were supposed to go sledding but Mother Nature had other plans and boyyyy am I sure glad!

Such a fun session chasing this little beauty around with her amazing parents at the Landsdown Christmas Market! We even got to visit Santa!!

Ardis' 5th Birthday Party - MacSkimming Outdoor Education Centre - Forest Edge

This past Sunday, my family and I were invited into the forest to celebrate a very special little girl’s 5th Birthday. Ardis is one of my daughter, Piper’s friends. They met at forest school when they were only 2 and half years old. Their friendship is now the length of half their beautiful lives and Ardi’s mom gave me the honour of documenting this incredibly special birthday party hosted by their loving forest school teachers’ from Wild Roots Nature and Forest School. There was a scavenger hunt, followed by a cozy camp fire with hotdogs and marshmallows and then we headed into the cabin to warm up, drink hot chocolate, eat cupcakes and open gifts. It was truly a wonderful morning and all the children and parents had an incredible time. Here are just a few sneak peeks.

Amy and Victor - Family Session - Hog's Back Park

This session was so perfect I am now craving more sunny winter sessions. Had so much fun with this beautiful family this past weekend at Hog’s Back Park. Amy and Victor along with the whole fam were so laid back and relaxed infront of the camera, just being completely themselves. Also the sun an hour before sunset was so incredibly magical my heart was blowing up every time I snapped a shot. And look at how adorable Quinn is… the friggin’ cutest along with his canine buddy, Riley. I can’t stop looking through this set.

Matt & Ann - Family Session - Stanley Park

Every year I reach out to another photographer whom I admire and ask for a family session swap. Where I photograph their family and they photograph mine. We get a chance to watch how each other work, pick up a new trick or two and we have a chance to ask each other any questions that may have been lurking at the back of our minds regarding camera gear, business etc. I ALWAYS learn something new. This year I asked Matt from Green Tea Photography. He and his wife, Ann, are a crazy talented wedding photography team! Like legit, so incredibly amazing! I was soooo damn nervous to shoot this session, so much so that I sat and meditated in the park while I waited for them to arrive.… TWO photographers who I admire so very much bahhh. But I am sooooo happy I asked and it actually happened!! I’m an introvert and asking and following through was mentally tough. I have grown as a person and a photographer from this session alone. No kidding.

Here are their sneak peeks among 100’s I still haven’t had a chance to look through yet!
